Our goal in annotation is to understand what the user was referring to when they uttered the utterance, so nicknames and other unusual ways of referring to people or things should be annotated as though they were the usual way of referring to those people or things, if it is clear what the user is referring to.

Correct Annotation: calling:call -- call my [darling]<contact>
