Utterance: 1. i had the privilege of teaching 2. religion 3. colloquial Annotation provided in the Guideline: 1. rejectuninterpretable -- i had the privilege of teaching 2. generic:na:body -- [religion]<body> 3. generic:na -- [colloquial]<searchphrase> Question: We got very confused given these examples in the Guideline. For No.1, it seems 'i had the privilege of teaching' can also be a body of a message. And for No. 2&3, we had no idea why these two are treated differently. Frankly, the boudary description of generic and reject_uninterpretable on P345 is very helpful, but we would be appreciate if you could tell us the boundary between generic:na and generic:na:body when it comes to fragmented utterance.

We agree that this is tricky. I will get back to you on number 1.

Numbers 2 and 3 are treated differently as "colloquial" is considered a more unusual word and the reasoning behind the annotation is that the user might be looking for a definition of that word, hence <search_phrase>. As a general guideline, when annotating fragments please default to generic:na:body with <body> tag and reserve generic:na with <search> tag for more obscure words (which the user might want to look up) or phrases which would give a reasonable result on a search engine.

    Follow-up on number 1 - we agree. Correct annotation: generic:na:body -- [i had the privilege of teaching]<body>
