Not sure whether to use 'other' or 'knowledge'/'help' when it comes to unsupported queries in other domains

Utterance: can you define the bluetooth function Annotation: generic:other -- can you define the bluetooth function (since generic:info:connectiontype is unsupported), or knowledge:definition -- can you define the [bluetooth function]<searchphrase> Question: Recalling the rules given in automotive queries, unsupported combinitions are annotated with 'knowledge'/'help' instead. We were wondering whether this rule can be applied to other domains. Kindly tell us your thought on this. :D

We can disregard knowledge:definition as (despite the presence of the keyword "define") it seems unlikely that the user is asking for an actual definition of bluetooth and we can disregard help domain as there is no request for help.

We agree that generic:info:connection_type would be the ideal annotation. Since this is not available, we usegeneric:otheruse generic:other

    Correct Annotation:

generic:other -- can you define the bluetooth function

Could you kindly give us some rules of thumb regarding whether to choose knowledge:definition even given the keywords? We find it hard sometimes to interpret whether the user wants definition or something else like in this example. Thanks

The key point is that the definition intent is for requests to define "specific words or phrases, including acronyms, abbreviations and names". If the user is more likely asking for information about a feature, or how something works, this does not fall under definition. Hope that helps!
