Utterances (from the Guideline): 1. who won the leafs game last night 2. what was the cowboys score last night Annotations (from the Guideline): 1. who [won]<outcome> the [leafs]<team> game [last]<date> [night]<time> 2. what was the [cowboys]<team> [score]<stat> [last night]<time> Question: We run into quite a lot of utterances containing phrases like 'last night', but we found these two examples from the Guideline that seems in conflict with each other. We believe it makes more sense to annotate these sort of phrases with <date> and <time>. Kindly provide your thought on this. :D

    According to the guidelines:

"The <time> mention is for phrases indicating times. This includes specific times (e.g. "seven pm"), relative times (e.g. "two hours ago", "in two hours"), repeating times (e.g. "hourly", "every three hours"), words specifying both dates and times (e.g. "tonight") and phrases specifying both dates and times but the date part is only interpretable in the presence of the time part (e.g. "this morning", "last night", "next evening"). "

So, utterance 1 is erroneous, I will inform the team.

    Correct Annotation:

    who [won]<outcome> the [leafs]<team> game [last night]<time>

    what was the [cowboys]<team> [score]<stat> [last night]<time>
